Downtown Farmers' Market will be back starting Friday, May 4, 2012
 Your mission is to visit the Farmers’ Market at San Pedro Square every Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and buy the freshest produce available in California. The San Jose Downtown Association, Pacific Coast Farmers’ Market Association, and San Pedro Square businesses team up to host the farmers and about 2,500 of their friends each week.
Starlight Cinemas Coming June, 2012
Movie fans bring lawn chairs, munch popcorn, and enjoy Starlight Cinemas on Wednesday evenings at dusk during the summer Featuring Action / Adventure Classic films and Comedies. New restaurants stand side-by-side longtime favored eating establishments. European-style café seating beckons. Come early, have a seat, and hang out. Click here for a selection of places to eat during Square Starlight Cinema nights. Downtown wine and beer sponsors will serve libations in the street. Series sponsors La Pinata and Sonoma Chicken will provide pre-movie specials, so stop by or call ahead.
