San Pedro Square – the oldest district in the city – is home to the Peralta Adobe and Fallon House. The Peralta Adobe was built in 1797 and is the oldest building in San Jose. The Fallon House is a Victorian mansion built in 1855 by Thomas Fallon, a frontiersman who served as mayor from 1859 to 1860. Both structures will see increased use with the advent of the San Pedro Public Market.
Combining old with the new, today’s San Pedro Square represents the premier dining and nightlife destination downtown. It is also home of the Tabard Theater Company, which performs in the rustic Theatre on San Pedro Square. Make an afternoon and evening out of your visit to San Pedro Square.
Catch The Reality Review: A Benefit Concert for Reality Research at the Tabard Theater Company - an educational non-profit dedicated to strengthening the democratic process in the USA by providing original and survey research on questions that impact us all.
